"Maui's True Deal" :: I just visited the Wailuku Guesthouse. It really is a find on Maui. Clean rooms at rock bottom prices. The new saltwater pool and waterfalls make it something special. The hostess, Maureen, really knows how to treat her guests. Kalani, the Golden Retriever adds to the atmosphere. I recommend this little hidden hideaway in the midst of old Wailuku to everyone.

"Wailuku Welcome" :: In looking for a one night stay on Maui close to the airport due to evening arrival, before our rental home was available the next day, I was very discouraged until I found the listing for Wailuku Guesthouse. Maureen was very accommodating to us. The rate was far less than any hotel I could find, and most other B&B's would not let us stay for just one night. By the time we got our rental car, it was 9 p.m. and our key was waiting for us just as she said. We were able to climb into the big king size bed (2 adults and 1 10 year old child do fit!) in the cozy air conditioned Mill Room and go right to sleep. In the morning we strolled around and met Maureen & family along with their cat and birds. Maureen recommended Fran's down the road for breakfast which was a local diner and SO GOOD that we also had our final meal on the island a week later there and brought along with my brother & his wife from NY and my parents from Kansas. She also steered us to a great swimming beach, and my son and I enjoyed a lovely dip in their saltwater pool. I'd much rather stay here than any hotel. Good rates, clean, friendly, good central location, and these locals are not afraid to share their favorite spots with mainlanders. Mucho Mahalo!

"It's Like Staying With Family" :: From the moment you check in, you feel at home. This guest house makes you feel like you are one of the locals. Perfectly located in the heart of Maui, makes it convenient to explore either side of the island. You can be on a beach in 5 minuets, or in town having a slice of New York style pizza in 3. There is a mall, food & drug store, even a K-Mart all within 10 minutes. Some days Maureen will surprise you, when you return home, with some of her delicious home made treats. If you don't want to just hang at the wonderful pool, complete with a waterfall, grab a few beach chairs and snorkeling gear, that is supplied there for the asking, and head to the beach! We have stayed there twice now over the last 3 years, and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else. A splendid time is guaranteed for all!
