Paia
Inn Hotel -
If you're looking for a different feel in Maui, aside
from the resort hotels, give this place a try.
Even though
this hotel is convenient to the airport and rental car
drop-off, it sits in a youthful, trendy, fun town, just
steps away from the beach.
You'll pass
through this town on the way to the Hana waterfalls.
It's the
perfect place to stay at to begin or end your visit
to Maui. You might be prepared to take a step down in
quality and service if you stop here after staying in
a fancier hotel but the Paia Inn will greatly exceed
your expectations.
The staff is the most friendly
you'll find ... the kind of people that make you feel
like you're a part of their family, not a part of their
revenue.
They will greet you with smiles
and ask if you would like a glass of wine and a tour
of the inn as well as the beach access.
When you go to the beach, the
staff will call you by name and give you a beach bag
with towels, mats, chairs, and boogie boards. Chairs
are provided.
The rooms and suites are small,
neat, clean and nicely decorated.
Sometimes you will be upgraded
to a better room if possible.
There is a cozy patio with all
or partial ocean view, kitchen, living room and free
wireless service.
There is also free internet
service in the upstairs hotel lounge area.
For those of you who enjoy good
linens, the Paia Inn offers some very good bedding.
Your room will be very quiet
and relaxing despite the fact that right out of your
door, you will have all the great restaurants and bars
at your disposal.
The hotel can make dinner arrangements
for you downstairs with prices you can afford.
In addition to their free continental
breakfast, stop by "Anthony's" in their courtyard for
breakfast for great coffee and pastries. Great value
