It has an excellent sandy beach, heated oceanfront pool and barbecues.

"Stayed at Nani Kai Hale Thanksgiving" :: Stayed at Nani Kai Hale Thanksgiving 2003. Even the back condos have some ocean view. Every unit has a small lanai. They have laundry on every floor, swimming pool, and barbecue area. All condos are privately owned, so there could be different relationships and prices with different units. The building management handles your arrival and check-out; they were friendly and hospitable. Did I mention it is on North Kihei ocean front? We walked only steps to the beach as it meets the barbecue/pool area. We were impressed with the cleanliness and quietness of this North Kihei location. Just minutes from South Kihei & Lahaina. There is parking & elevator too. We liked it and may return.

"Really Nice Condo" :: Stayed 5 nights at the Nani Kai Hale and loved the condo, #303. This one bedroom unit was decorated nicely and was recently refurbished to include new furniture and appliances. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils and condiments. Beach towels and a small cooler were also included. The view from the balcony was beautiful and the location (N. Kihei) is central to several popular destinations. The only downside about this unit was the noise from the street traffic when the lanai door was open, and the front desk is closed on Sundays. I would recommend staying at this condo if you are seeking a quiet atmosphere, don't require the luxurious amenities offered at the upscale resorts, and are working on a tight budget. Aloha.

"Breathtaking View....Rather Dated Resort" :: Great location- many restaurants nearby within easy walking distance. Units have a spectacular ocean view with breathtaking sunsets. The beach and great snorkeling are just steps away. The pool and grounds were comparable to most of the Kihei properties. On the downside the parking area was very small and the resort had only one elevator for the size of the building. The resort is rather dated which is a very noticeable issue with most of the beachfront resorts. Just a reminder that you are paying for the location and view. As a final note: Be careful going back to your unit in the afternoon- if you are on the 3rd or higher floor the trade winds almost blow you off the walkways!
