Maui Vista - If you like to snorkel, this is a good place to stop.

There is often a difference between offshore conditions along this coast, even a short distance.

That has to do with the size and grade of the lava flows that extend outward.

Some are thin, some broad, some coastline drops off.

The Maui Vista is one of the larger condo complexes, built during a real estate bubble in the early 1980s.

It most decidedly, does have a vista! You can see for miles from this property!

The complex offers a concierge, just like a hotel.

There are six tennis courts for the active, and access to many world class golf courses nearby.

The climate is warm and sunny year round.

If your are a part of an experienced body of travelers, the Maui Vista is a good choice.

"“Beautiful Resort, Great Location" :: I stayed at Maui Vista twice last year. Maui Suncoast Vacation Rentals had everything ready, the rooms and kithcens were well stocked with everything you could want. The resort has great barbecue areas, if you want, clean pools, and right across the street from the most beautiful beach. You can walk to many shops, restaurants, a grocery store, and a couple of convenience stores, there are also beautiful parks in either direction that you can enjoy. Maui Vista really can't be beat. It is the greatest value on Maui. It also has the most beautiful grounds of any of the complexes in Kihei

"Great Place To Stay" :: For the past seven years we have rented a unit in the Maui Vista for six weeks to two months. We love it so much we book for the next year before we leave the island. The unit is clean; the grounds are kept beautiful; we feel safe there. And it is only a one block walk from one of the nicest beaches on the island. Also we have made many friends there who come back each year also.

"Good Accommodation At A Reasonable Price" :: Just returned from 9 days at the Maui Vista. After reading some of the negative reviews, we weren't sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. Since we were arriving late at night, we called the rental agent the day before and made arrangements for key pickup and had no problems. We took advantage of the local activities info sessions and the agent was well informed and helpful. The Maui Vista is in easy walking distance to shops, groceries, restaurants, and the beach. The unit we were in had not been fully renovated, but was clean, comfortable, and well supplied. The unit is in building 1 which is next to busy S. Kihei Road. It is closest to the beach, but there is road noise. If this bothers you, try for building 2 or 3. The Maui Vista is clean, well maintained, has beautiful grounds, but was built in 1980 so you need to be realistic in your expectations. If you are looking for luxury accomodations, go down the road to Wailea and pay the big bucks. But if you need clean, comfortable vacation space in a good location at a reasonable price, the Maui Vista is a good option.
