Located only 7 miles from the Pacific Whale Education center, it offers a children's program, free high speed internet access and 15 barbecue areas.

The Maui Hill is so named because it was built on a small hill, and the added height gives visitors a ringside seat to the winter whale watching.

While the Maui Hill is not located on the beach, it does offer views and the Kamaole III Beach is only about a ten minute walk.

Many say that it makes up for not being oceanside by being in better condition than comparable condos in the very near vicinity.

The entire property is designated as nonsmoking.

Units come with fully equipped kitchens, washer/dryers for laundry and fully furnished lanais.

The Maui Hill has a 24 hour desk, and in this way has all the advantages of both a hotel and a condo. Maid service, however, is not available without a fee.

South Kihei is known for being less 'touristy' than Lahaina and surrounds.

The Maui Hill staff is courteous and friendly. They are always glad to provide a knowledgeable word or to assist in making your stay comfortable and happy.

The Maui Hill is highly recommended for families, but especially for families with younger children. This cannot be said of every condo on Maui, but parents will like the cleanliness, comfort and spaciousness of the units.

Having the in-unit kitchens also make for good family time and additional savings.

"Great Place To Stay" :: The Maui Hill was a great place to stay! We were there the last week in August and could not have been happier with our stay. We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo. It was beautiful and very spacious. There was air-conditioning throughout (one in the living room and one in each bedroom. The full kitchen helped us save money as we did not have to eat out for each meal. Our first stop when we left the airport was at costco which is very close to the airport. We were able to buy all the food and alcohol we needed for the week. Although we were surprised to find a variety of restaurants close to the Maui Hill. The people at the front desk are very helpful and there are menus in the lobby for many of the local places. There are great beaches near by. Renting a car was a must as everything was close but not close enough to walk to. We will definitely be going back to Maui. Next time we plan to take our children and will again stay at the Maui Hill. It seems very family friendly and has plenty of space for active kids. If you get to Lahaina, you should try Bubba Gump's restaurant. It was great fun, even better food, and the prices were very reasonable. We found a great little cove south of Kihei to go snorkeling. It was beautiful! There were lots of other adventures we went on as well - swimming with dolphins was the highlight.

"Very Nice And Clean Place" :: We stayed at this condo Room 36 on October 24,2003 for 5 nights. This was a very clean and spacious room overlooking the ocean. The weather was a bit humid so we had to use the air conditioner it worked great. There was 1 in the living room and 1 in the bedroom. We had a washer and dryer and 2 full bathrooms. This was great for a 1 bedroom. The staff is excellent. Upon check in we received a 2 for 1 certificate for luau it was so much fun. I will definitely stay here again, next time we will bring the kids.

"Maui Hill Is Paradise" :: I have been traveling to the Hawaiian islands and mostly in Maui for many years and I stayed in different hotels and condos, for some reason I never stayed at the Maui Hill, well !!!big mistake. To our opinion Maui Hill is a beautiful and unique place to stay - The apartments are fantastic I had a suite overlooking the beautiful and greatly kept tropical garden full of colored birds and also with a nice view of the ocean. The apartment was on two levels on 1st level there was a huge and comfortable living room with both air fans and air conditioning with a balcony where in the morning you can hear the birds, smell the plumeria enjoy the breeze and see the sunrise colors in the sky, the beginning of a new day on magic Maui at the fantastic Maui Hill , going on with the room on main level there was a fully equipped kitchen that opens up on another balcony, two bathrooms and one bedroom with air conditioning, on the second there is another small bedroom. The staff is really very professional and they all so nice and helpful especially staff at the front desk, swimming pool very well kept and very pleasant. The resort is located at the end of Kihei, towards Wailea - You have Foodland supermarket within 5 minutes drive from Maui Hill - and driving on Hikei beach front street towards Kahului you find several small shopping plazas. Lahaina is approx. 30 minutes beautiful scenic drive, try to do it a sunset.Next time will plan to stay at the Maui Hill longer
