The
Leinaala - is directly across from the Pacific,
only separated from the water by beautiful Waipuilani
Park.
The Waipuilani
Park has no lifeguards, so be aware of that, but offers
a wide grassy area to relax in; in addition to the beach
of course.
Rest rooms
are available in the park.
We like the
Leinaala for its home spun qualities.
At only 24
units, it is one of the smallest condominium complexes
that rents on Maui.
The building
is 4 stories tall, 6 units per floor.
ALL units
face the ocean; there is no fighting for space in a
condo complex of this small size.
The pool
is between the condos and the ocean, dug into a large
lush lawn.
The kitchens are fully equipped
but not provisioned, stores are a few minutes away and
nearby.
In the 2 bedroom units, the
bedrooms are at either end of the units for additional
privacy.
There is a laundry facility
on the premesis.
The Leinaala is one of the most
expensive buildings to buy a condo in. And one of the
most sought after.
Units tend to book well in advance,
so travelers should leave plenty of time for advance
reservations.
