"A Great View" :: We've stayed in Maui many times, including Sugar Beach and the Kihei Beach Resort. Our units at Sugar Beach were OK, but we found Kihei Beach smaller, and better maintained. Each unit is maintained by the owner, so make sure once you find one you like - request it every time. We now stay at the same condo every time we go and absolutely love the oceanfront view and quiet beach. It is an older condo but in excellent shape - the board looks like they know what they're doing.

"We Loved It!" :: We rented condo #303, which came as part of a package we arranged with Expedia.com. Our condo was wonderful. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped and most of all QUIET. If you want to be away from the tourists and kids, this is the place. There are full sized appliances in the kitchen, we had a one bedroom with a sleeper couch in the living area. The place is not huge, but we didn't need space just a place to rest. They even provided books on Maui, which we used, and music cds. There is a dvd player, stereo and tv with cable. There is a laundry area just steps from the unit in the hallway. The view from the lanai was worth everything. Other condos and hotels across the road from Sugar Beach can NEVER boast the view this place provides. You can see Molokini and Haleakala from the lanai. There is a great Farmer's Market just across the road, and loads of shopping nearby. There is a nice pool, lovely back lawn and its steps from your unit to the shoreline. It was a great value, we would rather spend our money shopping or on activities. I WILL stay here again, I wouldn't want to miss having breakfast on the lanai overlooking the water.

"Amazing View and Great Location" :: We just got back from two weeks at the Kihei Beach Resort and absolutely loved it. The best points about the condo: * The View: The first thing that strikes you when you walk into the condo is the fantastic view of the ocean and nearby islands. It’s absolutely magical. * The Beach: The beach that the condo is on is fantastic and highly under rated – it is long and easily walkable with great swimming. Unlike some of the more famous beaches, the beach was never very crowded. It was perfect for romantic walks. The area by the beach is setup very nicely so you can choose to sit under the palm trees if you are getting too much sun. The ocean in front of the condo is very calm so you don’t really need it, but I loved the pool too. * The Farmer’s Market Across the Street: We loved the farmer’s market and went almost every day it was open. We loved eating fresh pineapple or papaya for breakfast on the lanai. Not only did it taste great, it was a wonderful money saver on our trip, because Maui can be very expensive. * The Location: We really enjoyed exploring the island, and this was a great location to do that from. Unlike some of the resort areas, it never took us that long to get anywhere. It was great to get up in the morning, throw our snorkeling gear in the car, and go exploring. I would definitely go back. We had an amazing time.
