The resort welcomes guest with an open air lobby decorated in Hawaiian-themed prints and other artwork, dining is available on site at the Beach Club Restaurant (American fare) with the bar providing Hawaiian entertainment on specified weekdays.

The Aston Kaanapali Shores hosts Polynesian poolside reviews one evening each week. This lively gathering serves punch and features island style music and dance.

Those who wish to learn more about island life first-hand may accept one complimentary hula lesson, and a complimentary scuba diving lesson offered through the resort's dive shop.

The units are one mile from shopping at Whaler's Village and two miles from the Kaanapali golf courses.

There are pools and three illuminated tennis courts.

"Good Place To Stay On West Maui" :: We stayed four days at the Aston Kaanapali Shores condos in West Maui in July. When we arrived they had upgraded our room from a studio to a one-bedroom unit! Great! We found the unit to be so large--it was unbelievable. Everything was well kept up and was furnished very nicely. There were TV's in the living area and the bedroom! The bath was so large. The air conditioning unit made a low humming noise, but we got used to it and it was not a problem. It worked fine. Some folks we talked to were staying in other condos in Kaanapali and they did not have air conditioning at all... The place was great. The staff was helpful and friendly. The condos have handy parking in the garage and we were only steps from our room. The condos are pretty centrally located on the west side of Maui--close to Lahaina and Napili I would highly recommend this place and look forward to staying there again myself.

"A Pleasant Surprise" ::We visited the Kaanapali Shores for our honeymoon during the first week of September. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at our room. It was very spacious and had absolutely everything we needed daily maid service, kitchen fully equipped with dishes and appliances, and we had a beautiful view of the ocean from our lanai. A complimentary bottle of wine was also left for us since we were honeymooners. The resort gave us $100 to use at the Beach Club Restaurant, and we spread that over one dinner and two lunches. The staff was very accommodating when we requested a late checkout due to our evening flight, and the activity desk was amazing in helping us book a luau. We found the lobby to be very cozy and nice, and the grounds were impeccably maintained, with lots of palm trees and an area with a little waterfall and a coy pond. The shops along the main floor were also very handy for sundries and snacks, and were open fairly late. For groceries and fresh coffee, the marketplace across the street from the Shores was very convenient. All in all, we were absolutely thrilled with the Shores, and would stay there again without hesitation when we return to Lahaina.

"The Classiest Hotel We Have Ever Experienced" :: From the moment we drove up we knew the Kaanapali Shores was going to be a nice hotel. We had an all-inclusive vacation package so we didn't know very much about this hotel. We only knew that it was on the beach. It was beautiful! Everywhere you walk on the grounds there are beautiful things to see. We spent everyday at the hotel's beach because it was such a great beach. Wonderful snorkeling, great food at the Beach Club Restaurant, tennis courts, and two pools with each their own spa. The service was incredible. Everyone was so nice and friendly and the activities desk was always available to let me know where a good place to have dinner or shop was. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone going to Maui
