"Best Vacation We Ever Had" :: My husband and I spent 8 days at the Hotel Hana Maui. It was in an incredibly beautiful setting. The hotel was very low key and friendly, with terrific attention to service and beautiful interiors and magnificent landscaping. There were daily yoga classes, great massages, and a fitness center. The food was good, the setting and view unbelievable. Couldn't be better.

"Sleep To The Sound Of The Ocean" :: Spent a couple of nights of our honeymoon at the Hotel Hana after time in Wailea. It is the perfect place to just relax without any interference, and it was a nice touch that they left a bottle of champagne in the fridge with a note from the manager wishing us a happy honeymoon. We stayed in the highly recommended Sea Front cottages and left the door open to hear the ocean crashing on the rocks as we slept (the rain storm in the middle of the night did wake us up though!) The activities provided (yoga, tennis, bikes etc) were well run and in good repair. The staff were informative and pleasant without being intrusive. The trip further along the "Hana Highway" is good, get to the 7 pools early to avoid kids jumping from above. Spending time at Hamoa beach is well worth it, especially as you don't have to worry about taking anything there as the hotel provides beach chairs, towels, boogie boards etc. The Red Beach was overrated, unless you're into nudist beaches, as it was quite crowded and the shingles are not easy to walk bare footed on. The eating out situation is a problem, we ordered room service the first night and ate at the restaurant the second night, I must add that the food was very tasty. Overall, the place was great and the cost reflects that, I would recommend it for a special event but a couple of nights was enough for us as there is too much else to see in Hawaii.

"Unforgettable Wedding" :: We eloped to Hana for Valentine's Day and the hotel's staff, grounds and room were truly "heavenly". Upon arrival we were greeted very warmly with a fresh flower lei, tropical juice and a cold towel. We were shuttled to our room in a Sea Ranch Cottage with spa and it was unbelievable! Huge bathroom, the most luxurious bed, cozy living area, large deck with spa and the most gorgeous ocean view. After our ceremony, upon returning to our cottage, there were rose petals laid out on our bed and around the spa, it was the most romantic thing I've ever seen. Our entire stay, the staff called us by name any time we were walking the grounds and congratulated us on our marriage. We were only there for 2 days, but the staff made us feel so welcomed that we are hoping to make this our wedding anniversary spot for many years to come. They could not have done any better to make our wedding day special.
